Summer Camp XVI
July 30–August 2, 2009

For the past 16 years, the AKA Summer Camp has been setting the standard for martial arts training camps! The AKA Summer Camp has the most complete martial arts training available. Instruction includes extreme forms, open forms, weapons training, martial arts tricks, traditional forms training, self-defense and other exciting skills training. With Sideswipe Performance Team heading this year's camp, it will prove to be the best camp the AKA has had yet.

Our Goal

The goal of the AKA Summer Camp is to have each participant leave the camp feeling they have learned something new and had a great time doing it. Throughout the week the campers will have the opportunity to learn new forms (weapons, traditional, extreme, open and musical), work on a huge array of fighting drills and techniques, and be given an insight on how they can use different performance arts to step out of the box and create something all their own. Our world champion instructors will also help campers tailor their forms to meet their full potential. Through the week campers will experience and learn modern conditioning and training drills that will help them reach new levels.

Reserve your spot now – only 50 campers will be accepted. If you have any questions or need more information, you may contact Sensei Sharkey by phone at (815) 472-4259 or (630) 369-8055, or via email at sharkey100@aol.com.
